Hello Families,

I hope everyone is doing well.  Please don't hesitate to reach out to myself or your school if you need assistance or have questions about anything.  We are all working and happy to help. Below are two very important pieces of information.  The first is MSD of Lawrence Township's RSVP's information to let the district know if your child is coming back for the 2020-2021 school year.  Please make sure you log in to your skyward account and complete the process.  (This is NOT a re enrollment process).  If you have any questions you can call or email, myself, the welcome center or contact your school.  Please see the links below to detail the process of RSVP.  All of these links are available on the LT website under RSVP https://www.ltschools.org/announcements/rsvp

The second is information on unemployement insurance and how to file online.  Insurance benefits, and some job links

The Returning Student Verification Process (RSVP)

The Returning Student Verification Process (RSVP) facilitates the transition to a paperless online verification of a student’s return for the next school year. This process, which opens on March 30th, is completed through Skyward Family Access and is mandatory for all families. In order to complete this process, you must be able to log in to Skyward Family Access. If you do not have your Skyward Family Access account information, please visit your child’s school with a valid ID to obtain the information. This process must be completed for each student enrolled in the district and returning for the 2020-2021 school year, as all forms for the new year are included.

Unemployement insurance, and Unemployement filing information is below:

For your affected dislocated employees:

Please share with your employees that unemployment insurance must be filed online, using a computer, tablet or smart phone. Online filing information can be found at www.Unemployment.IN.gov. Individuals should review the Frequently Asked Questions, the Claimant Handbook and/or the online video tutorials on this page. We are asking all employers that if you have the means to assist your employees by allowing them to file for UI from your business, please assist as you can, as we know not everyone has access to Wi-Fi and devices to apply online.  Any assistance you can provide in getting these important benefits to your employees while preventing the spread of this disease is greatly appreciated.

Unemployment Insurance Benefits
If employers are temporarily closing or reducing worker hours, encourage employees to file for unemployment insurance benefits at unemployment.in.gov.  Individuals must file for unemployment insurance electronically. It includes:

  • Claimant handbook
  • FAQs
  • Video tutorial
  • Links to file for unemployment insurance

Access the employer side of unemployment benefits information here: uplink.in.gov/ESS/ESSLogon.htm
